Electronic fuel injector is the most important and complex component in common rail system, and it is also the most difficult part in design and process. By controlling the opening and closing of solenoid valve, ECU injects the fuel in the high-pressure fuel rail into the combustion chamber with the best injection timing, injection quantity and injection rate. In order to achieve effective injection starting point and accurate injection quantity, special injector with hydraulic servo system and electronic control element (solenoid valve) is adopted in common rail system.

Check the camshaft clearance regularly.

The axial clearance of fuel injection pump camshaft is very strict, generally between 0.03 ~ 0.15mm. If the clearance is too large, it will aggravate the impact of roller transmission parts on the working surface of cam, thus increasing the early wear of cam surface and changing the advance angle of oil supply; if the clearance of camshaft bearing shaft and radial is too large, it is easy to cause the camshaft to run unsteadily, the fuel regulating rod vibrates, and the oil supply quantity occurs cycle Periodic changes make the diesel engine run unevenly, so it is necessary to check and adjust it regularly. When the axial clearance of camshaft is too large, the gaskets can be added at both sides for adjustment. If the radial clearance is too large, new products should be replaced.

Regularly check the wear of relevant keyways and fixing bolts.

Edit the cause of excessive fuel injection

There are three common reasons for excessive oil supply of fuel injection pump of diesel generator set

1. The fuel supply of the fuel injection pump plunger is too large, or the adjusting gear ring locking screw is loose, which causes the adjustment gear ring displacement, resulting in excessive fuel supply of the fuel injection pump

2. The adjusting screw which limits the maximum oil quantity of rack in governor is adjusted too much or the limit screw of throttle handle is adjusted too much

3. Too much oil in the governor will increase the oil supply and cause “runaway”.
